1. Who We Are

HALOnet is operated by Paritosh Pathak International LLP (“we”, “us”, “our”). HALOnet is a private, invite-only platform that includes Cruise Control (a relationship management tool) and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you are invited and create an account, we collect your email address and the password you set. Passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form.

Profile Information

You may provide your name, company, role, city, headline, LinkedIn URL, phone number, industry, and a profile photo. This information is visible to other members in the community directory.

Contact & Relationship Data

You store information about your professional contacts, including names, companies, notes, strategies, check-in logs, scores, and relationship details. This data is private to you and protected by row-level security at the database layer.

Usage Data

We record your last active timestamp to support community engagement features. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising networks.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the HALOnet platform
To display your profile in the member directory
To compute and display leaderboard scores
To generate aggregate community reports for administrators
To send you account-related communications (invitations, password resets)

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL platform that provides encryption at rest and encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Row-level security policies ensure that database queries can only return your own data.

Administrative actions (account changes, suspensions) are recorded in an audit log for accountability.

Upcoming: Client-Side Encryption

We are implementing client-side encryption that will encrypt your contact names, notes, and strategies on your device before they are sent to our servers. Once enabled, this data will be unreadable to anyone without your encryption key — including our team.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. Your data is used solely to operate the HALOnet platform. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting your administrator. Upon deletion, all your contacts, check-in logs, profile information, and associated records are permanently removed from our systems.

8. Your Rights

Access & Export — Export all your contact data as a CSV file at any time from the user menu
Correction — Update your profile and contact information at any time
Deletion — Request complete account removal by contacting your admin
Portability — Your exported CSV is in a standard format you can use anywhere

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
